Default Gmail: Deleted messages...not deleted

Please Login to Remove!

I have my gmail address set up to send to my BB. In the set up, I have "Syncronize deleted items between this mailbox and my device" checked as "Yes". When I delete a message I checked "Delete from hand held and mailbox".

I logged into G-mail yesterday and all of the deleted items were there as unread messages. I figured I'd give it a few hours to catch up. Nothing.

Any ideas? It looks like I have everything set up correctly? I don't have it set up as IMAP.

I would try resending the service books. Usually they delete just fine.

You'll have to excise my "newbness" as I just purchased the bb last weekend. How do I resend the service books?

Go to where you setup your email initially. There is a link in there for resending the service books.

Thanks John. I just resent them. Let's see if that clears things up.

It worked! Thanks for the help John! I won't have to open my gmail to a sea of messages I've deleted from my BB.

The delete function is still working nicely.

However, if I have a message that I read on my BB and don't delete, it's showing up as unread in my g-mail.
