Question Deleting message on BB does not delete from mail box ..

Please Login to Remove!

Hi ..

I am as green as they come .. so please go easy on me ..
I have a 5 user (free) BES license, and 5 users setup.
We are a GroupWise 7 email server house.
My new BB users are asking me why when they delete emails from the BB devices, does the email still remain in the post office.
I have looked on the BB Device to see if there is a config setup to enable this and also on the BB Manager (on the server), but only see the ability to setup PIM Sync redirection, but no breakdown on what gets redirected and does not.
Is there a way to configure BB users to have this happen?

thx

Paul J.

Default

Wireless Reconciliation needs to be enable and the BlackBerry needs to be setup for delete on Mailbox and Handheld. Have you check both of these settings?

Hey, thx, but I was just playing with the BB 7250 I have and found the setting .. I feel like a real idiot ... oh well ... will try to due a better investigation job next time .. lol

Thx for your time and effort ...
I am sure that I will have more questions as my test users kick the BB's tires .. they have all different BB devices, so this may become interesting !!

Cheers,

Paul J.
