I've searched the forums but im unable to find the answer to:

If i have contacts and I uninstall bbm 5.0 from my device, am i removed from my friends bbm 5.0 contact list.

if not, what happens if they try to bbm me ?

You are not removed and if they try to contact you you will get a request informing you of the request. Depending on your BB , you may get promped to download the BBM application. Why bother to remove the application ? it causes no issues except your contacts know when the phone is on and in an area with service.

So they will have no idea I have removed the application then ? I assume they wouldnt get the "d" beside the message ?

There are times I need it removed for certain reasons and I'd just like to know how it would work from their end.

They wont get the delivered indication and won't have a clue you removed the app. except they may call to see if you did get it.
