Default 8703e Meeting Request 1 hour off

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all
Kind of stuck with this one.

I have a BPS server (migrated from BES sbe so I could add more users) ver 4.1.4.3 on Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003. One of my users has a 8703e running 4.2.1.106, with the DST 2007 patch.

This problem just surfaced since she figured out how to send a meeting request from her BB. What is happening is that when she creates the meeting request from the BB, in her Outlook, it is 1 hour ahead of the time she created. If she creates the meeting request in Outlook, it works correctly. If she modifies the request in Outlook, when it syncs back to the BB, it is corrected.

I have an 8830, and mine works fine.

Not sure why only she is affected, but she might not be since I doubt many of the execs use the same functionality. She is one of the admins.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Enio

yep...

We did that a while back. Everything has been working fine. All PCs are updated by SUS, her BB has the DST update, and our Exchange server was updated, as well.

It's just weird that her BB has the issue, and mine doesn't. Thats what confuses me.

Thanks for the reply

Would definitely help to see the versions of cdo.dll that are registered on the Exchange 2003 server, along with the BES Professional.

Also, was the BES cdo.dll updated/installed using System Manager or was it just copied over from exchange?

You don't have Outlook on the server, correct?

As far as the CDO.dll files, I don't remember how I copied/installed them. It was a while ago. I'm pretty sure I copied them from Exchange tho...

I'll double check the versions in the morning.

Also, Outlook is not installed on the server.

Is it possible that the function would would work fine on my BB if it was a problem with the CDO.dll file versions?

Thx

If the problem is with cdo.dll you'll see inconsistent / intermittent problems at best.

Hi all

Got a little sidetracked with other work...

Checked the cdo.dll files on the Exchange 2003 server and my BB server...both the same.

Version 6.5.7638.2

Anything else I should look for?

Thanks
