My friend is having a problem with her 8310. She dowloaded the soft reset program yesterday and used it once and it was fine. Now today she is trying to do a soft reset and it wont go through. An error comes up saying :
uncaught exception:java.lang.illegalArgumentException

Does anybody know what this means and how we can fix it?

Try a battery pull and if that doesn't fix it then Alt+Caps+Del does a reset too.
