Default Calendar Issue

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Folks;

It would appear I have an issue with my calendar. Until recently, I had no problem syncing my bold via desktop manager to Microsoft Outlook 2007. Now all the sudden, it will not sync. At first, it would only sync the contacts, or so I thought.

After digging deeper into the problem, I found my device was syncing fine, but since there was nothing new, it was not showing anything. I thought this was weird, as I add stuff daily to my calendar. Then, after more digging, I discovered it was the blackberry messenger group calender that had somehow starting syncing, instead of my device calender.

I have deleted all calendar service books, facebook application is not causing any problems, that calendar as well has been taken care of. I have deleted all entries in the group calendar, and even left the group for the time being to see if it will delete. It is still there.

How can I get rid of this bloody thing. I just want my email address associated calendar to work. I am on BIS, with Rogers.

I'm not sure why your messenger calendar is sync'ing. That is a new one for me.

Usually when calendar does not sync the problem is with the setting in default services in advanced options: you need to have the CICAL address set same as the CMIME address.

What do you see in your default services settings?

Here is what I see

Calendar (CICAL) emailaddress
Messaging (CMIME) same email address as above

just those two entries.

Beats the heck out of me. Next idea would have been delete CICAL service books, but you say you did that.

I'm anxious to see what others say.

Try going to calendar > options: In all caps, type RSET. See if that deletes it.
