Hi, Im developing an application that get coordinates from blackbery's GPS. It works in some blackberrys. I tried in a blackberry that use google maps and works fine for it, but when I try to see coordinates by Options->Adavance Options->GPS i got this message: An error ocurrred while gps updating. And when I test programan that get coordinates it doesnt work.

Any know why?

A few more details would help. What model of Blackberry are you having trouble with? Have you tried it outside with a good view of the sky? Google Maps will fall back to cell ID location so it isn't always the best GPS debugger to use.

I see, Im using Blackberry 8100

According to these specifications: BlackBerry - 8100 Pearl Specs and Information at BlackBerry.com
only the 8110 and 8130 have a GPS, the 8100 does not.

mmm Is there any other way to get location without GPS?

You could look at OpenCellID: OpenCellID

There may be others, but you aren't going to get as good a location fix as you would with GPS.
