Default "(-1)" indicator beside Phone in OSX-Zen (Pearl)???

Please Login to Remove!

I have been running the OSX-Zen theme on my 8100 for the last few days. After a day or so, a "(-1)" indicator appeared beside the Phone icon on the main screen. Can't get rid of it. There are no messages waiting, no voicemail, no missed calls, no nothing. Hard reset does nothing. If I activate other themes, the indicator does not appear, but as soon as I reactivate this one, it's back. Any ideas?

For what it's worth I just uninstalled the theme, and reinstalled it as well as the similar Zen II, iPhone Zen, and iPhone Zen II themes, and they all do the same thing!!! I can understand having a stuck message indicator like a "(1)", but what's with the minus sign "(-1)" ???

Still mucking around here... it also does it on the regular Zen theme!!! I have removed all call logs, so there's no reason for the message flag, yet the "(-1)" persists! Arrgghhhh!

Have you checked Messages >> Options >> View Folder

Then delete everything under Call Logs

Do a hard reboot (pull battery for 30 sec)

No dice! The fact that it does the same thing in the native Zen theme is what seems weird, not just a bug from a 3rd-party theme.

Yes that is a bit odd..... At this point it might be a good idea to back up and wipe from the device then restore...

I wiped w/JL_cmdr then installed the new TIM firmware. So far so good.

Ha I made a thread about this in the 8100 forum. I really have no idea why its there. It's been there for 3 weeks now or at least from what I can remember. I think I should bring it back to Rogers and see if they can figure it out. But chances are, if people here can't figure it out then I guess its something with the firmware.

It's totally annoying I know!

Yeah, the Rogers guys normally are clueless when it comes to specifics like themes etc. I think it's some kind of little bug. Have had no recurrences since loading the TIM firmware.
