Default some advice before starting

Please Login to Remove!

I need to devellop a java application running on the blackberry and collecting some data. This application would have to post those data to a web service of mine.

Is this possible if my provider (bell mobility in canada) doesn't provide any APN?
I was thinking of doing this with Http request but then again if its possible to do it with socket connection would be better i think.

What do you think?
I'm new to the blackberry devellopment so any comments, ideas will be very appreciate.

Thanks
