Hi, I have a problem with my Blackberry 8900 Curve. I have had the handset for about a month and a half now.

Suddenly yesterday a symbol has appeared on the screen.

This symbol is a small box with the letters CS in it. This is in the top right hand corner of the screen, and only appears when i am on a text entry field; such as writing an SMS, or in blackberry messenger.

Also what has happened is that the length of one page of a new SMS has been reduced to 70 characters from the hundread and something it was previously. Also I tested sending an SMS, and the reciepitent was only recieveing the first page and the rest of the characters where just black boxes.

I would really really appriciate it if someone could help me with this, in why has this happened and how can I resolve it?

I have laready contacted o2 my service provider and they did no have a clue.
