Default BB App World Freezes on Loading Storm 9520

Please Login to Remove!

I am trying to run this on a Storm 9520 with oS 5 (latest).
Just updated to App World 3 and despite reboot and battery pull it just freezes on load.
Tried Uninstall, reboot, then re-download and then reboot.
Samo Samo.
Can I get an old version of App world via the browser? This one sucks.

Have no other 3rd Party Apps on phone at all so what is causing this, or is app world just not happy with 9520.
More than happy to use 2.1 if I can get it.
But cannot download anywhere other than phone accoring to Desktop manager.

And once it gets to the loading screen, you cannot get back out.
The whole thing just behaves erratically and you have to battery pull. Double

Is this happening when you launch it but before you even try to log in? If so, how long have you waited before giving up? Do you have good mobile signal at the time?

Sorry, a bit slow in spotting this reply!

Nope.

It happens at anytime I want to run Blackberry App World App on the phone.
Everything else works fine.
Signal is good and anyway it has a WiFi connection.
Apps downloaded via the PC are fine and work ok.
It is JUST Blackberry App World, AND only since I upgraded it to the latest version 3.
It's only a second backup phone for me I use an enemy phone (but not the i??? one).
Still annoying though.
Rather like the way that RIM don't really support the Storm 2 anymore.

Ii would try alt-RST, assuming keyboard input even works. Lauch app world and then hold the alt key and press R, S, and T. If it works as it should, app world will close after a few moments. Then try launching it again.

If that doesn't work, I would do a security wipe. Backup first, of course. Do the security wipe and then test.
