Default Bold 9900 interferes with Acronis backup

Please Login to Remove!

I just found an interesting oddity about my Bold 9900 and Acronis TI 2011 and 2012. If the bold if left plugged into the USB port, e.g., for charging overnight, a scheduled Aronis back-up will not run. It gives a message something like "Process cancelled by user".

I see through search that others have reported some Acronis conflicts, but this is an easy one to handle, just don't charge over night on your USB port if you schedule Acronis back-up for the night.

There is no conflict when merely syncing the BB and PC.

I wouldn't say that was a crash however.

You are 100% right. It doesn't crash the computer, it interferes with this one program. I tried to edit the post, but I could not change the heading.
