Hi,
I have a 8800c with cingular. Today was the first day I used Telenav and was really impressed with its functionality. However, it looks like Voice dialing does not work when telenav is active!


While telenav was navigation, I had my BT headset on and pressed the BT button to make a voice call - the voice call application loaded and prompted me to speak the name which I did - but no matter how much I spoke, hollered, cajoled, the voice application behaved like it was hearning nothing - it kept waiting and did not react.

Did anyone try this ? Since my cell phone was being used for GPS, being able to voice dial directly from my headset would have been a very useful feature.

Voice dialing doesn't work while using TeleNav.

First time I tried it today and got the same result. Glad to know it dodesn't work.

I am trying out a new Mapquest Navigator product and it has a different technology that does allow VAD use and calling doesn't interupt the routing. See the amendments I made to my GPS tips site.
