I experienced intermittent issues with that myself. Best bet, pull the battery while powered on, and try again with an open sky. I must have tried 6 times in a row to get a lock, then when I rebooted, I got it the first time.

GMM has issues with 4.5. You won't get GPS in GMM until GMM is upgraded for OS 4.5
Vincent, for your normal GPS signal, make sure you outside, in a clear view of the sky for a refresh, and wait up to 10 mins for a refresh.

I ended up uninstalling Google Maps, battery pull reboot, then reinstalled Google maps, then I had to re-trust the app to the GPS to resolve the same issue.

I noticed issues with all my GPS enabled apps after loading the .37 and again with the .42 beta. Within a few hours it started picking up the GPS signal. I'm not sure why this is, but both versions acted the same way. Now that it's getting the GPS signal, it seems to be faster than before. I can't remember if the released version included A-GPS. I notice that the betas do which might explain why they are quicker (once they work).

No, a couple minutes usually does it. I have seen it take almost 10.

True, tall buildings can be a problem for a gps sync. The initial gps sync downloads the tables to the BB indicating where in the heavenlies the sats are located.
If you travel far, like by plane cross country, another initialization of the GPS is required likewise.
But I have seen a user here on this forum in Manhattan comment he had to go down to the Hudson or some piers to get a clear sky. That doesn't mean you will have to.... but?

I ask that because I have much difficulty finding satellites from downtown Denver. And we don't have nearly as many (or as tall) sky scrapers as in NY.

I get GPS signal. My LiveSearch gets it....but Google Maps continues to hang at 90% while trying to get radio.
I've deleted 2.2 and reinstalled 2.1...same problems.
