Default deleted facebook service book

Please Login to Remove!

i deleted the facebook service book from my 8330 curve (verizon). should i be worried?

i do not have a facebook account.

i had read that the facebook app was causing weird hangups and decided to try to delete the app, when i searched for it in options>advanced> applications I couldn't find the app. So i searched and the only thing related to facebook i could find was in the service book section. so i deleted that.
the facebook icon is still on my start screen.

also, my battery life seems to be very short. If I am using the internet or checking emails, after about 20-30 minutes my battery drops down 2 to 3 bars.

Welcome to the forums.

You'll get the service book back next time you have to resend your service books from your BIS account or next time you register the device wireless network. It's like a bad penny. The best you can do next time is to just hide it.

For the battery life, are you in a 'fringe' area of coverage? How many 'bars' do you usually have? If you're in a fringe area, then your device is constantly trying to search for a signal and this will drain the battery very fast.

wow. thanks for the quick response!

so nothing to worry about with the service book. good.

i seem to be getting good signal in my area usually have 3 to 4 bars at all times. i'm in the city, always get good reception. could i have a bad battery?
about 10 miles away at my office sometimes my 1x ev signal drops out.

i think i'll check with verizon and see if they can send a new battery.

thanks again for the quick reponse!

If the phone is constantly switching between 1XEV and 1xev, it will drain the battery due to it constantly search for a signal. This does not indicate a fault with the battery nor with the device.
