I'm looking for a hybrid of OS6 that will help me get back some of the memory I've lost on my 9700. I'm currently running with 35-38 mb and its frustrating at times. I've removed all the apps and files that I don't need, still have the problem. Anyone recommend any good hybrids that will fix my leak? Thanks

Perhaps try OS 5, linked at the top of the 9700 forum.

I'm pretty sure OS5 isn't a hybrid OS6.......

No, no hybrid OS versions. I've seen beta releases leaked but no "hybrid" versions. I suggested OS5 only as an alternative to OS6.

Because OS5 is the OS that the 9700 was designed for. The 9700 doesn't have enough memory for OS6, so the 35-40mb remaining is about par for the course.
