Is there anyway to put the new OS on my pearl using the PocketMac program which doesn't seem to want to work for me in the first place...

Might be why it doesn't work for me at the current moment then..

Any other suggestions on how to get a new OS or do I have to borrow a buddy's pc?

Default Downgrading

Blackberry suggests downgrading (see link below). Alternatively, one could wait until they cme out with a new version of PocketMac.

Angry

After spending 2 hrs upgrading my OS at the suggestion of TMobile, I am not pleased to find that it doesn't work with pocketmac which is essential for me. I wish I had been alerted!! I am now downgrading which hopefully will work.

What a bummer!!

Default New PocketMac software in the pipeline

I spoke to RIM support today and was told that they are working on a new PocketMac version which will be released "pretty soon". They are not allowed to give a concrete estimate as to how long exactly it is going to be.

It works for me. Just downloaded pocketmac 3 days ago and I'm running BB OS .96

Works just fine for me!

I had .101 on my BB when I tried to use PocketMac and it wasn't working... But I solved all my probs by getting a MacBook and Bootcamp along with a copy of XP...works perfect when I need to be in Winblows for desktop manager and such

I don't know why you would have problems back on the mac.
