I recently installed the OS version .230 on my BB (apps version)

I have not been very happy about it so I wanted to do a downgrade to some other point (.180 or maybe .222)

I downloaded the file and I proceeded to installed the way it was explain... but I am NOT able to downgrade... when I run the loader it will not let me install the older version....

What can I do?

If all else fails, you could completely remove the OS from your device using JL_Cmder. I would only use this as a LAST RESORT.

Wait, don't wipe yet I don't know if that's your issue.

Make sure that you have uninstalled the new version from the PC. Then make sure you install the lower version on the PC. Delete vendor.xml and try again.

I hadnt uninstalled... I actually had the .180, the .222 and the .230 installed so the phone could not downgraded untill I wiped the newer first...

Thanks jsconyers. That was the logical way to go... But I forgot... I once actually downgraded from .200 to .180 but I had forgotten how to do so...

Im tryin .222 now... lets see how that one goes...

I have tried each of the upgrades available for the 8220, but keep going back to .180 because every other one throws errors for the wife.
