I am running the latest 9530 on ATT and it takes forever for edge to become EDGE followed all instructions that there possibly is and still takes for ever for edge to get EDGE after battery pulls or restarts.

Is there anyway to hold EDGE right away?

on beejive beta for storm if i run "auto network configure" it looses EDGE

Is there anyone that gets EDGE right away after restarts, etc.?

How long is forever?

I am about to get a storm, and my Curve can take up to a couple of minutes to get EDGE from edge after turning on.

Is "forever" 30 seconds?
2 minutes?
An hour and a half?

I'm on AT&T with a 9530, and I used to have that issue until I installed the latest OS (.151), with those changes to the mobile network. I found the .151 radio works great!

I also found that you do not need to move the net_bb_browser_daemon to another folder. Just have to go to options/advancedoptions/host routing table/blackberry button/register now You will get your service books.
