Default Wi-Fi help & Media Sync Issues

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I'm working on my girlfriends 8320 and have two issues I need help with.

1. I just installed a Belkin N+ router. The phone does not find it when I do a WiFi search, and when I try to add it manually it gives me the error code that translates into it being too weak a signal (which makes no sense as I am sitting next to the router when I do this). It has PSK password protection however it makes no difference if I enter the password or not for it's connection.

2. I installed Media Sync on her PC (running XP) and it crashes every time I attempt to run it when connected to the phone.

Any advice?

Thanks!

Wirelessly posted (8320 Titanium)

1. Is your network hidden?? Have you tried connecting to the router with all security off (open network)??

2. No idea, I don't use media sync. Sorry.

It has PSK enabled... I have not tried to connect it without security. It is not a hidden network.

Try it without the security and see if you can connect that way. Also, is the router set up to only allow "n" clients to connect, or can the older "g" and "b" clients connect too???
