I got a download for this OS for 9530 from MTS Mobility and tried installing to my storm from VZW. i deleted the vendor.xml file and the process goes through and when the phone restarts and i check the OS version on the phone it still says 5.0.0.328. can anyone explain how the hell that happens? and what should i do to fix

You have the 9530 listed as your model, but are downloading and attempting to install software for the 9630 Tour.

Nah man, when i got the download from MTS it was listed under 9530 and i also got a hybrid version for download too from another site
