I hope someone can help me! just got a new 8900 on Orange in UK I cannot download any apps through the USb, internet explorer always crashes when it starts to download
I have got the data package with the network

Do install the desktop manager to your PC?

Why do you not download them through the blackberry browser?
Its alot easier.

I have downloaded the desktop manager but don't know how to get apps from it
I cannot access internet yet from the blackberry! only added extra data package a few hours ago so hopefully it will work soon
But would rather download from pc to blackberry if poss

You did add the Blackberry data package?

You need to download apps from sites (google for them) in .alx format, to load with desktop manager.
