Hello folks. First post in here. I have an annoying black screen that pops up every 30 seconds or so. I can quickly read enough that it is from Blackberry and looks like it has something to do with a failed upgrade. This is a 64 bit Vista machine, yup, I know. However, it has always worked up till now. It has lost communication with my phone so I tried to go into control panel to delete link it but it tells me that it is trying to install a new one and wait until it is complete and try again. OOOOOOppps, no go. That screen has put the brakes on everything. Have no idea how to take it out and reload. Looking for advise in here.

Hello again. I took many, many pictures trying to capture the error as it flashed quickly. It has to do with error deleting tunnelmgr.exe. I found it in x86 common files and tried to delete it manually but I don't have permission and when I open the folder I got another screen with more detail. I got a snap shot of it with the error code but that's as far as this guy can go. Any idea where to send it or can I load it to a post? Jack

One thought is to go into "dos" mode via the command prompt. From there you may be able to go to the directory with blackberry files in it and delete everything except any backups you may have.
it does sound like you corrupted the PC's OS and may have to do a reload to get it back.
Try deleting the temporary files and any cookies. it may help.

Also do not load any software over the air if possible.
