This one does not use a cable to charge the Pearl. Just set it on the cradle and it connects to the 2 gold leads on the back to charge. Plus, it charges an additional battery. Although you do have to plug a cable in to sync with your PC.

Love Seidio, however the cradle that mckinneycm posted would have been the one I would have gone with. It's distributed (and perhaps made, not sure on this) by RIM. With items like this where the manufacturer also puts out accessories I tend to purchase those accessories as well.

I would definitely love to have the kind RIM has, but it is just so darn expensive.
