Default Beware! Blackberry Bluetooth headset

Please Login to Remove!

I purchased the recently released HS-655 bluetooth headset from blackberry.com and have problems ever since with int. losing connection between my 8700G and the headset. Apparently, RIM outsources their online accessories webstore to another company. I spent literally hours trying to find a number to call for support and then hours being redirected between the companies on getting support. The product was delayed for a month so I am suspecting it has some bugs but no one can in support can tell me anything about the product.

I have determined the loss of sync occurs at any level of battery charge and isn't due to EMF interference. The manual on blackberry's product website is absolutely worthless but you can find a better user manual on the plantronic website.

So, based on my experience with the blackberry product and support, don't waste your time and money.

Have you tried deleting the headset from the handheld, rebooting the device, and pairing it again?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8703e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

I have only had 1 instance in about 50 of pairing. I just did like JC said and rebooted my phone and no problems. Like my home network I sometimes have to "hard" reboot and it clears the cache and problems solved.
