Default Arrrrggghhh Email Issue Please Help!!

Please Login to Remove!

So, ever since last night my BB Pearl has been alerting me to new email EVERY 9 MINUTES. Thing is, the emails are blank ... I have deleted over 400 blank emails and I can't get it to stop!!! WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON WITH IT AND HOW CAN I GET IT TO STOP ???? I have already checked my email accounts on my pc and deleted everything - there are no new emails in any of my in boxes or deleted folders but yet I am still getting the alerts and blank ones on my BB.

Where is the email coming from?

Go to your BIS website and delete your email setup, and set it up again.

The emails are being sent to my roadrunner email addy which come to my bb. It does not give a sender addy, only states to: and my email addy, everything else is blank. I already reset my emails thru my BIS account .. and it is still not working. Any other ideas?

ok, Delete your Service books, for that email with that address at Options > Advanced> Service Books.

Kill the BIS account, meanwhile on your BIS account.

Pull the battery while powered on, on the BB and reboot.

Look at the Service Books and confirm your email is not listed in the Service Books.

Add the account back now on the BIS site, and when you get confirmation on your BB in the registration message, you should be fine.

IF it continues, you have a Roadrunner account issue, not a BB issue.

lol, you are very welcome.

I don't know why or what, but your service book must have gotten corrupted somehow. I have a friend who got about 3,000 from one sender in a three day period and she required a similar solution. I can't explain it, some kind of push email purgatory cycle.
