Default Import Company Address Book

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

Parent company ABC, and child company DEF. A user went from company ABC to DEF. This user has a Blackberry, and has personal contacts and ABC Address Book contacts. He's recently moved to company DEF, and backup his Blackberry using Desktop Manager. Wiped his Blackberry, and activated on company DEF BES.

A couple of questions:

1. How do we import/restore his personal contacts to BB?
2. How do we import his previous company's address book?

Are these possible? If so, please provide step-by-step instruction and/or right direction.

Thanks!

Personal contacts should be exported from Outlook of the old company and imported into Outlook of the new company. They will automatically appear on the Blackberry again.

The corporate address book is not stored on the Blackberry. It is provided through the "lookup" function. So it should be there (for DEF).
