Default Junk SMS help

Please Login to Remove!

I have joint voicestream back in ~1995 and never have a single problem with this junk sms message. Two weeks ago, I purchase a 8800 and sign up yahoo go and telenav, yahoo sms me a link to download their software and telenav send me the 60 day trial code thru sms, and now I have already get 2 junk sms message, dunno who is selling my mobile number

How do you guys deal with this junk sms message, it cost me ~$0.05 per message, not breaking my piggy bank yet, but what if I get 2000 message a month, I just want to stop this before it turn into a bigger problem.

Also I cannot have tmobile turn off the sms service, I am in the volunteer fire brigade and confine space rescue team(I work for the refinery), they use sms for the call out.

Is there anything I can do about it?

Well it sounds like the junk sms is coming from either Yahoo Go or Telenav, thought honestly, after ten years of service from TMo, and having signed up for both Yahoo Go and Telenav both, I have never honestly received a junk SMS.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830: BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

I don't get many. Is there a program to filter them?

Never, ever, ever give my cell # to some company in order to send me something for free. Especially the ones that have sites loaded with dancing bananas telling me I won a free iPod and a 1% mortgage like Yahoo.

There's no such thing as a free lunch.

Not true. If your monkey picks the right banana you get a free visit from about 1,000 other spam messages, all free.

So you are saying you did sign up for both and you did not get any junk sms message?
