is anyone using a BB on a pay and talk plan?
One of my friends is going to use BB on pay and talk, and he just wants to know what you cant use on pay and talk, like the messenger or what not.

Correct--most carriers don't allow pay as you go for the Blackberry Data Plan, which is what your friend will need in order to get data, email , etc, on his BB.

Why? Because that is their policy.

Actually one more question regaurding Pay N Talk,
If I have Google Maps on my BB will it work, like is it done by internet where I have to pay per page on Pay N Talk, or is it completely free because Google maps is just complete downloaded on the BB so it does'nt need to search the web for data.

The app is free, but a data plan is needed to use. The maps are downloaded, not stored (except for what might be cached during use).

The google mobile maps application definitely accesses google's servers to download the map images, etc. I can't say it doesn't access other internet; in fact, I suspect it does.

Hmm well on Pay N Talk, you can get this feature and its unlimited web surfing and you use 5$ of your airtime to get it, Would I be able to use that on the Google maps and Opera browser then?
