I have a wireless router and when I set up the wifi on my 8120, it detects the router. When I save/add the router to my wifi settings.

That means that I can browse on the bb browser, without paying? Correct??
Because it's using my internet connection... Can someone tell me?

Also, Whenever my friends send me MMS; SOMETIMES I cannot get the picture, it says something like "cannot retrieve" but when I click "retrieve" it doesn't work. How can I fix this problem?

First of all, that is correct about the free internet thing. That is of coarse of you DON'T have a berry plan... And the mms, not getting the message is carrier based. I'm on att and I have to hit "get download" or whatever the option is usually 4 or 5 times before I get it too.

Kelly, are you subscribed to a BlackBerry Data Plan with AT&T? It would be a $30 per month add-on to your account.

Well, no.

At first when i got my phone for the past 4 days or so. MMS worked fine.

Even when I didn't have the BB data plan. That's weird.

Unfortunately, with AT&T you'll need the BlackBerry Data Plan for MMS to work properly.
You got lucky for a few days, but I think you're out of luck at this point.

Also, do you need BB data plan to use GOOGLE MAPS? Or have the internet activated???

because when I have 2-3 bars of signal, and I'm trying to locate where I was, it said that service was unavaliable and when I'm trying to search for "Pizza" to show me where any pizza resturant are close by, it says that my signal is bad and I need to be in a better signal place. Any clues???

Oh gosh, so when I purchase the bb data plan, google maps will locate me? and work properly again?

What else is good about this data plan. Unlimited internet? E-mailing checking? and what else is good..
